You can close applications by simply clicking a cross sign at the side of the window.

Shortcuts can be added to social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and Evernote. You also have the option of customizing with widgets. Navigating the desktop is easily done with a swipe of your finger.

Internet – To enhance your internet experience, Nokia has developed a phone which contains GRPS, EDGE, HSCSD,WAP, Bluetooth, Wi-fi, and HSDPA connectivity. For internet surfing Mozilla Firefox explorer is utilized by the telephone. To zoom in on a page, just swirl your finger in a circle or tap the page twice.

Navigation – In this device the navigation software is worth mentioning. The great N900 also includes a A-GPS, inbuilt compass and Ovi maps. If you don’t like using Ovi maps, you can choose other maps to download and keep.

Photos and movies – This mobile phone has camera options which is 5 mega pixels with 3x zoom facilities and video options like geo tagging, auto focus, etc. Crystal clear images are achieved through the combination of amazing resolution and clarity. You will be able to edit the images as you want. Video streaming can be tried with WVGA 848×480 @ 25fps.

Media – Media features are cool in The Nokia N900. MP3, WAV, WMA and eAAC formats are the support files of the music player. Whereas WMV, Real Video, MP4, AVI and XviD formats are the support files of the video player.

Microsoft Office- The document viewer contained in the mobile phone permits users to see MS Office documents and PDF files easily.

Games – This handset can be used to download a Super Nintendo emulator. The gaming experience is good.

Extras – Polyphonic ring tones, calculator, calendar, organizer, to-do list, Java, handsfree, voice memo, FM radio, vibrating alert and so on are some of the other features.
