Where can I find the cheapest auto insurance as an out-of-state, full-time student?
I am 20 years old, about to enter my third year of college come this fall, and own a home. I have had my license since I was 18 and have had no violations or anything like that except for one parking ticket (I don’t think that goes on a record or anything). What would be the best place to get the cheapest insurance? Right now I’m in Arizona but my family is back based in California, so I don’t think it’s possible to be covered on their plan, and I don’t even know if they would let me do that since I don’t live with them and own my own home. I also don’t have a job for the time being, since I’m a full-time student, so I’d probably end up getting the money loaned from my dad if my scholarship doesn’t cover it… will that make a difference?
